Carla Desantis was born in Taranto, June 10, 1975.
She reveals very soon a keen interest in arts, especially painting. She enthusiastically undertakes an artistic path that led her to attend with excellent results the Academy of Art in Lecce.
Carla currently lives and works in Ardea (Rome).
An exact aesthetic research, clearly figurative and of sharp interpretation, has perceived in the manner of the apulian artist. She likes best oil painting among the various technique, and she is devoted to portraying subjects that express arcane beauty and veiled mystery.
The selection of the oils makes her painting an endless experimental stage which encourages the audience to understand the deep nature where her creatures move and become proud, essential, silent but alive.
